NYEC 2010

With the support of the National Environment Agency (NEA) and People’s Association Youth Movement, Ci Yuan CC YEC and Youth EnvirOlympics Council will be jointly organizing NYEC 2010 in conjunction with the World Environment Day.

Enriching and meaningful elements of NYEC 2009 will resurface in NYEC 2010.  The 2 main programmes of NYEC 2010 include the En-Mazing Race and the Official Event, with focus on our theme on water.

NYEC 2009 saw a total of 1,880 participants from over 80 schools. Following the success and positive feedbacks gathered, the 3rd Executive Committee hopes to bring back NYEC 2010 with challenging and fun-filled activities to spread the message of incorporating healthy GREEN habits into people’s lifestyles.

Activities

• Exhibition
  There will be much to gain from the exhibition at the official venue.  Besides learning more about the environment, there are plenty of opportunities to network with environmental organisations, interest groups and sponsors.
• Fringe Activities
  Throughout the day, members of the public will be kept entertained with games and performances planned for them.  They will do the NYEC dance with our mascot.
• Closing Ceremony
  The launch of our mascot and prize presentation ceremony will mark the end of the exciting challenge.
