National Youth EnvirOlympics Challenge 2010

With the support of the National Environment Agency (NEA) and People’s Association Youth Movement, Ci Yuan CC YEC and Youth EnvirOlympics Council will be jointly organizing NYEC 2010 in conjunction with the World Environment Day.

Enriching and meaningful elements of NYEC 2009 will resurface in NYEC 2010.  The 2 main programmes of NYEC 2010 include the En-Mazing Race and the Official Event, with focus on our theme on water.

NYEC 2009 saw a total of 1,880 participants from over 80 schools. Following the success and positive feedbacks gathered, the 3rd Executive Committee hopes to bring back NYEC 2010 with challenging and fun-filled activities to spread the message of incorporating healthy GREEN habits into people’s lifestyles.

Mission

1. To create a platform for youths to interact and learn the importance of going green in their current lifestyles through our events
2. To advocate environmental-friendly practices to members of the public through the project
